Qualification
:
The qualification for admission to the first year of B.Tech Course
is a pass in Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of
Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other
examination recognized as equivalent there to with Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the College
are made along with other Engineering colleges in the state through a
Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
The admission pattern is
as follows:
70% seats
will be filled by convener .
30% reserved for management quota where candidates from other
states can seek admissions based on their AIEEE rank or 10+2 marks
Diploma holders are also admitted in
second year of B.Tech courses to the extent of 10% of the intake based
on the merit in the ECET (FDH) under Lateral Entry Scheme.
Supernumerary Seats :
As per the AICTE guidelines 10 % of
the seats are earmarked " for Tuition fee waiver " on Merit Basis -
Economically Backward, Women & Handicapped Candidates in every branch.
