The D.V.R. College of Engineering and Technology-with the
approval of ALL India Council for Technical Education, Government of
India, New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh-started
functioning from the academic year 1997-98. The College is
affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
 The Devarakonda Educational Society
was established in the year 1994 as a non-profit organization to
shoulder a proactive role in achieving the national objective of
emerging as a knowledge oriented society.
Sri D.Vittal Rao, Hon’ble Member of
Parliament, is the president of the society.
In servicing the avowed objective, the Devarakonda Educational
Society has established the D.V.R.College of Engineering and
Technology in the year 1996, the D.V.R. Post Graduate College of
Management Studies and the D.V.R. Post Graduate College of Computer
Applications in the year, offering state of art academic programmes
in Engineering, Technology, Management and Computer Applications.
